Cooking on a skewer

Place meat, sausage and roast or other meat on skewers. Insert into sides of grate to stand up, yet within range of heat. As the outside of the roast cooks, cut off slices and serve or reserve in a warming dish or warmed slow cooker. Takes approximately 10-15 minutes to cook outer layers, depending on the desired doneness. This is adapted from the Brazilian method of cooking. It is a fun way to entertain guests. Have a buffet table with salad, bread, beverage and condiments arranged for guests. They can eat the barbecue as they talk or play games.
