Chicken Pizza on the Grill


To make a chicken pizza, take a can of crescent rolls with you in the cooler. Also take 1 cup of mixed shreded cheeses and 1 cup of Parmesan cheese. You will need 1 cup of pizza sauce or catsup to mix with chicken. Add 1/4 cup chopped green and red peppers, 1/4 c onion and 1/4 cup chopped mushrooms. Grill four chicken breasts and chop. Mix chicken, peppers, onions and mushrooms with pizza sauce and set aside. Spread the rolls around the bottom and sides of black skillet because this is a deep dish pizza. Sprinkle cheese on top. Cover and grill/bake about 45-60 minutes. After 30 minutes check for doneness of crust. Grill/ bake on low heat to prevent burning of center of crust. This is a picture of the tasty grilled chicken pizza. Recently some young adults served this on a camp-out and found it easy to prepare and very tasty! Serve with mixed salad greens (that have been washed in salty water before going camping) and dressing to complete the meal.
